Terms and Conditions

The terms and conditions set forth herein apply to all services provided by 789 Car Service Company, including cross-boundary transfers, local transfers, airport transfers, pet transfers, hourly hire services, and related promotional activities. By using our services, customers are deemed to have read and agreed to the following terms and conditions. The purpose of these terms is to ensure transparency of the service process, safeguard the rights of both parties, and uphold fairness. In the event of any discrepancy between the website content and the Quotation, Reservation Order, or Invoice, the latter shall prevail.

⚖️ Final Interpretation: 789 Car Service Company reserves the right of final interpretation and amendment of these terms and conditions.

📌 All terms and conditions of 789 Car Service Company shall be governed by the Chinese version. In case of any discrepancy, the Chinese documents — including Quotation, Reservation Order, and Invoice — shall prevail.

Transfer Service Terms and Conditions

1. Reservation and Payment

  • Upon confirmation of reservation, our company will issue an order detailing the itinerary, fees, and any applicable surcharges.

  • Unless otherwise specified, advance deposit or prepayment is required. After completion of the service, an official Invoice will be issued for settlement.

2. Additional Charges

  • Waiting Fee: HK$300 – HK$400 (calculated in full-hour blocks).

  • Late-night Fee: HK$200 up
     ‧ General Services: 23:00–06:59
     ‧ Airport Pick-up Services: 22:00–06:59, based on scheduled flight time

  • Parking Fees: charged as per actual expenses.

  • Hong Kong Island, remote New Territories, specific car model/year/driver, or designated route via a particular checkpoint: please inquire with Customer Service.

  • Other applicable surcharges: please inquire with Customer Service.

3. Itinerary Changes and Cancellations

  • Orders canceled within 12 hours of scheduled time may incur full or partial charges.

  • Once the journey has commenced, any additional changes (e.g. extra stops, detours) will be subject to surcharge.

  • Company reserves the right to adjust itineraries due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. traffic, weather). Customers will be notified as early as possible.

4. Passenger Guidelines

  • All charges are based on exclusive vehicle hire; shared rides are not provided.

  • Passenger count must comply with legal seating capacity. Advance notice is required if carrying oversized luggage.

  • Passengers must wear seat belts at all times.

  • Boarding or alighting in restricted zones is prohibited. Any penalties or liabilities incurred will be borne by the customer.

  • During border crossing, passengers must disembark with luggage. Drivers are not responsible for carrying passenger belongings.

  • Passengers are responsible for all required travel documents. Any issues arising from incomplete/invalid documentation are the responsibility of the passenger.

5. Company Disclaimer

  • The company shall not be held liable for delays or losses caused by traffic, weather, or force majeure factors.

  • The company shall not be held responsible for items left in the vehicle or for items that cannot pass through customs.

Promotional Activities

  • Promotions may be launched by the company from time to time.

  • Promotions cannot be combined with other discounts unless otherwise stated.

7. Membership

  • Membership categories: Personal Clients and Business Clients, each with three levels: General, VIP, and S.VIP.

  • Details of entitlements, upgrades, downgrades, and conditions are set out in the Membership Terms below.

VIP Membership

  • Eligibility:

    • Any customer with total spending of HK$30,000 within the most recent consecutive 12 months shall be upgraded to VIP (Permanent).

    • A single spending of HK$30,000 also qualifies.

    • Signing a fixed-term contract of at least 1 year or 2 years also qualifies:

      • First 12 months’ total spending of HK$25,000–HK$29,999 → upgraded to VIP (Non-permanent).

      • If the same contract is renewed at an equal or higher level, → upgraded to VIP (Permanent).

      • If first 12 months’ total spending reaches HK$30,000+, → upgraded to VIP (Permanent).

      • A 2-year contract (total HK$50,000 or above) → upgraded to VIP (Permanent).

    • Charities, educational institutions, and medical institutions are directly upgraded to VIP.

  • Downgrade Rules:

    • VIP (Permanent): No downgrade condition.

    • VIP (Non-permanent):

      • If the contract is terminated early → immediate downgrade to General.

      • If the contract ends without renewal → automatic downgrade to General after 12 months.

S.VIP Membership

  • Eligibility:

    • Any customer with total spending of HK$100,000 within the most recent consecutive 12 months → upgraded to S.VIP.

    • Signing a fixed-term contract of at least 1 year (first 12 months’ total spending HK$80,000+) → upgraded to S.VIP.

  • Downgrade Rules:

    • General Case: If the requirement of the most recent consecutive 12 months’ spending is not met, the membership will automatically downgrade to VIP after 12 months.

    • Termination of Contract Midway: Will immediately downgrade to General Membership.

    • Failure to Meet Requirement After Contract Change: Will immediately downgrade to General Membership.

    • Special Case: If, prior to contract change or termination, the member has already accumulated HK$30,000 or more in the most recent consecutive 12 months, the membership will immediately downgrade to VIP instead of General Membership.

Execution of Upgrades/Downgrades

  • All upgrades/downgrades are executed automatically by the company, without customer application.

  • If a customer notices membership not updated, they may contact Customer Service.

Settlement

  • All memberships are settled on the 1st of each month.

  • Transactions on the 1st are excluded from that month’s calculation.

Company Reservation

789 Car Service Company reserves the right of final interpretation, adjustment, suspension, or withdrawal of membership terms and entitlements, under any special or force majeure circumstances.
 

Pet Transfer Terms

Free Transfer Conditions

 ‧ All cats and dogs placed inside pet bags or cages are free of extra charge, with no limit on the number.
 ‧ All guide dogs are free of extra charge, with no limit on the number.

Additional Charges

 ‧ If pets are not placed in a pet bag or cage:
  - First pet: HK$50
  - Second and subsequent pets: Price to be quoted depending on the situation

Other Animals

 ‧ Any non-cat/dog animals must be placed in a sealed pet bag or cage to ensure safe transfer and vehicle cleanliness.

Passenger Accompaniment Requirement

 ‧ At least one passenger must accompany the pet(s) during transfer.

 ‧ If no passenger is present, extra charges will apply, and the company will not be responsible for the pet’s safety, health, or behavior.

Cleaning Fee

 ‧ Minor fur shedding or slight odor will not incur a cleaning fee.

 ‧ If accidents occur (e.g., urination, defecation, vomiting), the driver may charge an additional cleaning fee depending on the situation.

Repair Fee

 ‧ If pets damage the interior facilities or decorations of the vehicle, customers must pay the repair fee, the amount of which will be determined by the extent of the damage.

Service Reservation

 ‧ Since not all drivers accept pet reservations, customers are advised to book in advance so that suitable vehicles and drivers can be arranged.

Scope of Service

 ‧ The above terms and charges apply only to local transfers.

 ‧ For cross-boundary pet transfer services, please inquire separately.

Student Pick-up Service

🧒 Student Pick-up Service — Trial Period & Contract Discount Terms

Terms & Conditions:

  1. This promotion applies exclusively to designated “Student Pick-up Service” monthly packages (round-trip or one-way, with separate contracts for Kowloon, Hong Kong Island, and New Territories. Please contact us for details).

  2. All customers must sign a full service contract upon enrollment. The service will commence with a “Trial Pick-up Period,” covering the first 19 rides as the initial stage.

  3. During the trial period, customers are required to prepay the full regular price (e.g., HK$XXX × 19 rides), depending on the selected package. No cancellation or refund is allowed during this period.

  4. If the customer notifies us to cancel the contract after completing the 19th ride, the contract will be terminated immediately, and any additional fees incurred (e.g., waiting time, extra stops) during the trial period will be settled. No refunds or reimbursements will be provided for any prepaid amounts.

  5. If no cancellation is requested after the 19th ride, the contract will automatically proceed to the second stage: the formal contract period.

  6. The official contract includes a total of 190 rides, with payments divided into 10 monthly installments (e.g., monthly fee: HK$XX,XXX).

  7. The difference between the trial period and the contracted price will be refunded in installments (e.g., HK$XXX per month), deducted from the 2nd to 9th monthly fee, and the final balance (e.g., HK$X,XXX) will be refunded in the 10th month. All amounts vary by package.

  8. Additional charges (e.g., for extra stops, remote districts, or waiting time) incurred during the contract period will be calculated on a monthly basis, cut off on the 23rd of each month. The invoice will be issued on the same day and must be paid by the 30th of that month. These fees will be included in the following month's payment.

  9. Final add-on charges will be calculated and collected after the last ride is completed.

  10. If the customer exceeds the total of 190 rides, an extra charge will apply based on the contract’s average per-trip rate (e.g., HK$X,XXX / ride).
      No refund or reimbursement will be provided for under-utilization (fewer than 190 rides).

  11. Upon completion of the full contract in compliance with all terms (including no breach and full usage of 190 rides), the customer will receive a total of HK$1,000 in reward coupons (10 x HK$100).

  12. Reward Coupon Terms of Use:

Customers who complete the full contract as agreed (including minimum ride count and no breach of terms) will receive HK$1,000 in reward coupons (10 x HK$100), which can be used for future purchases of our other transfer or charter services. These coupons are separate from the original contract and cannot be used to deduct any contract-related fees.

  • Each coupon of HK$100 can be used for every HK$1,000 spent on basic fees only, defined as:

    • Base pick-up/drop-off service fees

    • Extra stop charges

    • Charges for Hong Kong Island area

    • Charges for remote New Territories areas

    • Coupons are non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be used together with other promotions or discounts.

  • The following items are excluded from the definition of basic fees (non-eligible for coupon use):

    • Parking fees

    • Waiting time fees

    • Designated drivers

    • Designated vehicles

    • Customized arrangements

    • Any other additional services such as purchases or bookings on behalf of the customer

13. Quota and Registration Deadline:

This is a limited-time promotional offer with a restricted number of spots available. Final allocation is at the sole discretion of the company. The enrollment deadline for this campaign is August 27, 2025 (Wednesday) at 11:59 PM. Late registrations may not be eligible for the promotion.

14. General Clauses and Disclaimer:

In case of any omissions or operational changes, the company reserves the right to modify, supplement, suspend, or terminate this promotion without further notice. If there is any inconsistency between promotional materials and these terms, these terms shall prevail.

The company reserves the right to reject any case suspected of abuse or violation of service terms. In case of disputes, the company’s final records and interpretation shall prevail. The company shall not be liable for any direct or indirect loss caused by unforeseen circumstances or force majeure that disrupts service delivery.

The Chinese version shall prevail in case of discrepancies.
